A Sneak Peek from New Ravenna Mosaics

A Sneak Peek from New Ravenna Mosaics

New Ravenna Mosaics has given Design Magnifique a sneak peek into some of the new collections launching over the next six months. Here are a few in the lineup, which I think are pretty spectacular.

New Ravenna Mosaics is America’s premier designer and manufacturer of stone and glass mosaic tiles for both residential and commercial installations. The company’s products are handcrafted mosaics that are fashioned into decorative borders, murals, field tile and medallions. Tile is cut and can be tumbled, honed or treated to create distinctive styles, subtle shade variations, and textures.

WHITE GLASS INLAY DETAIL: Giovanni Barbieri, the maestro from Italy, an artist alchemist, turning marble dust to stone, and marrying glass and enamel to terra-cotta from Tuscany.

GRANADA: Paul Schatz, renowned for the Mediterranean villas he designs and furnishes. Paul has an Arabic, Moroccan and Spanish influence on marble.

BOTTLES: Erin Adams, Morandi inspired bottles, continuous line mosaics, African textiles and pop art.

FIONNA MIRROR: Sara Baldwin, founder of New Ravenna Mosaics – this year she’s playing with the fabrics of her youth, plaid and gingham. She continues to explore nature and materials (antique mirror, parquet, tumbled glass).
