Baby Rooms = Design + Safety

A good nursery design begins with planning a few essentials before you even pick up a paint brush. There are a few things you need to think about before you begin your nursery decorating project:Your child’s safety:

Your top priority in designing any little person’s space should be safety. If this is your first baby, you are used to thinking about the world from the perspective of someone much bigger – you!

Things that are harmless for adults can be a minefield of danger for someone who, at birth, will quite comfortably nestle in a space the size of your hands.

Without being paranoid, you really should start looking for danger around every corner, and bear your baby’s safety in mind through every step of the nursery design process. Think small and fragile.

Your child’s furniture:

Make sure your furniture selection is safe meaning no sharp edges, no glass and specifically no light weight moveable pieces.

After taking the above into consideration, you should have fun selecting the paint color, the nursery theme and specially that unique element that makes your baby room personalized.

Below is some of my favorite baby rooms, among these pictures there is a baby room designed by Design Magnifique  and made the new parents delighted after seeing the 3D perspective of their new baby boy room.
